Last updated: [05/02/2026]
These Terms & Conditions apply to all events, purchases, and participation in activities organised by Middle of Nowhere. By coming to an event, purchasing merchandise, or taking part in our activities, you agree to the terms set out below.
Participation and responsibility
All participants take part in Middle of Nowhere activities at their own risk. Hiking and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including uneven terrain, weather changes, and physical exertion. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of taking part and for bringing appropriate clothing, footwear, and equipment.
Health and fitness
You are responsible for assessing your own fitness and health before attending any event. If you have a medical condition or accessibility need that may affect your participation, we strongly encourage you to contact us in advance to discuss suitability.
Trips and payments
Middle of Nowhere reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or amend events due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. Where possible, we will offer alternative arrangements, but refunds are not guaranteed.
Behaviour and conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards others, group leaders, the public, and the natural environment. We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.
Photography and media
Photos or videos may be taken during events for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such content, please inform a group leader before the event begins.
